Alex Sanchez

Sr. Process Development Engineer

Alex Sanchez is a Senior Process Development Engineer for Thiozen, specializing in process scale up and technology development and assisting in business development. Prior to joining Thiozen, he graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a dual Masters in Chemical Engineering and Engineering and Technology Innovation Management (ETIM). During his time at CMU, he joined a battery startup with the goal of commercializing 3D printed battery electrodes, where he worked on both business and technology development. Prior to his graduate studies at CMU, he worked for 4 years as a process engineer at Ecolab in the process development group, focused on process modeling and scaleup of soaps and sanitizers. Alex received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering for the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
